International visiting professors and consultants are distinguished physicians, surgeons and medical researchers who are invited by the Cleveland Clinic to lecture, teach, attend grand rounds and participate in general departmental activities. Visits are usually one-to-two weeks. Travel expenses and local living accommodations will be provided by the Cleveland Clinic inviting department and the International Center. The Cleveland Clinic department requesting the visit should submit an outline of objectives to the Chairman of the Advisory Committee, International Center. A current curriculum vitae of the candidate must be included.

International visiting professors and consultants are members of the professional and administrative staff who have been requested to visit a foreign medical institution to lecture, teach and participate in symposia. Visiting Professors usually travel for up to one week. Consultants may provide assistance over a longer period of time.
