Application Guidelines The Razavi Clinical Scholar Award is a fully funded, advanced training fellowship established in honor of Dr. Mehdi Razavi, past chairman of the International Center. The award recognizes his service to the international medical community and dedication to building an outstanding international program at The Cleveland Clinic. The Award supports the clinical and research training of an international physician for one or two years in an area of advanced clinical practice. The duration should be defined at the time the application is made. Applications for this position must originate in a Cleveland Clinic clinical department, must include a detailed description of the proposed clinical and research programs, and identify the responsible staff mentor. The application form must be completed and submitted along with the requested references and documents. Only one application per department per academic year will be accepted. Salary will be determined by level of experience. Applications must be submitted to the chairman of the Division of Education by December 1. The recipient will be announced by January 15. Razavi Fellows will submit a quarterly report detailing the progress of their clinical and research experience. It is expected that the research will lead to a scientific presentation, publication or abstract. Razavi Fellows will also be expected to undergo an exit interview with the chairman of the Division of Education and the chairman of the International Center. For more information, contact:
