The Comfort of Home
Home respiratory therapy can be a safe and effective alternative to inpatient care. If you’re like most people, you probably prefer to recover from or manage your condition in the comfort and privacy of your own home. When a skilled team of specialists provides home care, patients experience better outcomes.

The goal of home respiratory therapy is to provide quality care in a safe environment, so patients can maintain their independent lifestyles for as long as possible. Prior to starting home respiratory therapy, a thorough assessment is performed to ensure that the patient is an appropriate candidate for services and to determine if other home care services are needed.

About Home Respiratory Therapy
The Clinic’s home respiratory therapy service offers patients home oxygen, nebulizers and aerosol medications.  We also provide the growing population of sleep apnea patients with CPAP and BiPAP equipment and supplies. Our products combine high quality with patient convenience and advanced technology.

Your Home Respiratory Therapists
Your home respiratory therapists are specially trained. Therapists are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for on-call service needs. They work closely with your doctor and other professionals involved in your care. The team routinely calls patients and monitors progress, compliance and safety throughout the course of therapy.

The Patients We Serve
Home Respiratory Therapy serves patients throughout the Cleveland Clinic Health System.Patients who require home respiratory therapy have diagnoses such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic bronchitis, asthma and compromised heart function.
