Advanced Bioethics
With medical care continuously evolving, ethical
issues associated with this change are coming to the
forefront. Cleveland Clinic’s Institutional Review
Board has approved more than $313,000 to help fund
the inaugural class of the Cleveland Fellowship
in Advanced Bioethics. This program was created
by a collaboration between the Cleveland Clinic
Institutional Review Board and the Cleveland
Foundation.
The program, which will be housed at Cleveland
Clinic, will target advanced students launching
careers in bioethics. Five fellows will be selected
for the inaugural class, beginning in July 2007.
