Cleveland Clinic
Specialty Services Symposium: Medical, Surgical and Quality
June 3, 2008 InterContinental Hotel & Bank of America Conference Center | Cleveland, Ohio

Introduction - Michael McMillan

Spring is a new beginning, inviting hope and presenting opportunity. Much like the season of spring, Cleveland Clinic has a rich history of innovation and excellence in continually seeking opportunities to provide high-quality services in new and efficient ways. With this in mind, I am pleased to deliver exciting news about two new programs which I hope will be of interest to you.

This year, our Specialty Services Symposium will go virtual. By this I mean that we will deliver information about Cleveland Clinic's specialty services directly to you via regularly-scheduled webinars instead of hosting a one-day Symposium in Cleveland. You will hear from our experts about state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment approaches and learn how appropriate treatment results in high quality outcomes and value. You will be able to select the topics of interest to you and view the sessions from the comfort of your office. There will be no charge associated with these webinars. Please take note of the information about our first webinar which is included in this issue.

We have listened to your requests for direct and comprehensive access. It is my pleasure to announce that we have established the Market and Network Services Access Line, specifically dedicated to Case Managers, Medical Directors and Corporate Leaders needing assistance in patient referrals to Cleveland Clinic. The access line is available for use immediately and more information can be found below.

Please enjoy the new issue of "Speaking of Specialty Services," and feel free to provide feedback. Your ideas are appreciated and may one day be incorporated into a new and innovative program!

Sincerely,
Michael McMillan
