Will provide info on the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 Sections 501, 503 and 504 as they pertain to cancer survivors and their workplace. they can also provide info on the Family Leave Act regarding a care giver's needs, also Cobra etc...

An advocacy group that helps employees and their companies understand the American and Disabilities Act as it applies to cancer survivors. Also covered are issues of short-term and long-term disability and COBRA issues.

Patient Advocate Foundation is a national non-profit organization that serves as an active liaison between the patient and their insurer, employer and/or creditors to resolve insurance, job discrimination and/or debt crisis matters relative to their diagnosis through case managers, doctors and attorneys.
