Course objectives:

During the course each participant receives one-on-one training to develop knowledge and skills in:

  • Preparation of ejaculated sperm for ART:
       - Sperm wash
       - Double density gradient technique
       - Swim-up protocol
  • Method of retrieval of sperm from retrograde ejaculate *
  • Sperm retrieval and preparation of testicular biopsy specimens (rat or mouse specimens will be used) *

Educational teaching methods:

  • Lectures
  • Laboratory training sessions
  • Interactive discussions

Each participant will receive:

Course duration:

Participants receive 16 hours of instructions in the following areas:

  • Lectures, discussions - 4 hours.
  • Laboratory training sessions - 12 hours.
