Graduated from the faculty of Medicine, Menofyia University, Cairo, Egypt. He finished his residency in Clinical Pathology from Menofyia University Hospitals, Menofyia University, Shibin El-Kom in 2001. He is a Research Fellow in Andrology/Urology at the Reproductive Research Center at the Cleveland Clinic since February 2006.
 
Research Interests: Clinical Pathology of Male Infertility.

He was an assistant lecturer in Urology at Beni Suef University, Egypt. Currently, he is a research fellow in Urology/Andrology at the Urology Department and Reproductive Research Center at the Cleveland Clinic since January 2008.
 
Research Interests: Cancer and Male Infertility, Effect of chemotherapy on sperm DNA integrity and its potential side effects on future offspring.

He finished his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in El-Shatby Maternity University Hospital, Alexandria in 2003. In 2004 he was assigned as an Assistant Lecturer in Alexandria University, Faculty of Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department. He is currently a Research Fellow at the Reproductive Research Center at the Cleveland Clinic since March 2006.
 
Research Interests: Assisted Reproduction Techniques, Human Gametes Cryopreservation, and Laparoscopic Surgery.
