The Cleveland Clinic's American Center for Reproductive Medicine (ACRM) is a research program of the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute which is ranked as the No. 1 Urology program in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. The ACRM was established in1993 with the mission of conducting cutting-edge research in human reproduction and into the cause of male infertility and training physicians and scientists with a commitment to advance the field of reproductive science and research.

The Andrology Center and Reproductive Tissue Bank’s specialized facility is one of the largest in the country. It offers a variety of comprehensive tests to evaluate male infertility using state-of-the-art technology. As part of the ACRM, the Andrology Center offers diagnostic tests and fertility preservation for couples experiencing infertility and men diagnosed with cancer.
ACRM’s Research Fellowship program offers a unique opportunity to researchers / physicians / students interested in gaining real research experience in male fertility, reproductive biology, and the unique opportunity to work closely with world-renowned scientists and researchers. Our male reproduction and infertility research fellowship is one of the most active in the United States. Since 1993, our center has trained over 1,000 researchers from the United States and over 50 countries worldwide.
The Summer Mentorship program at ACRM delivers a unique, intensive internship experience in scientific writing will provide a lifelong foundation of useful skills. During the previous years, 225 pre-meds, medical students and recent graduates from 15 countries have completed their internship at ACRM. Not only did they gain the opportunity to work at the Cleveland Clinic alongside reputed staff and receive mentoring by world-renowned faculty in medicine and health sciences, they had the opportunity to publish articles in prestigious medical journals.
We offer a unique opportunity for personalized hands-on training in the latest techniques in assisted reproductive technology (ART). Our center has been providing ART training since 2003 and have successfully trained 187 candidates from over 40 countries. Trainees can choose from 10 different modules and receive customized training by experienced practicing Embryologists and Andrologist in our state-of-the-art training facility.
The ACRM enjoys an international reputation for excellence and innovation in male infertility research. Researchers from more than 50 countries who have trained at our Center have published over 673 articles in peer-reviewed, indexed journals. The ACRM enjoys an unsurpassed reputation of having the largest number of both high quality and highly-cited publications in andrology, male infertility, and ART. The citation index of our publications is 54,371 with an h-index of 116 on Google Scholar and 85 on Scopus.
