The Cleveland Clinic’s American Center for Reproductive Medicine is a research program of the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute which is ranked as the No. 1 Urology program in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. The American Center for Reproductive Medicine was established over 24 years ago in 1993.

The Center’s mission is to:

The American Center for Reproductive Medicine enjoys an international reputation for excellence and innovation in human infertility research and is dedicated to disseminating its results. Researchers from more than 50 countries who have trained at our Center have published over 673 research articles and reviews in peer-reviewed PubMed, Scopus and ISI-indexed journals. The Center enjoys the unsurpassed reputation of having the largest number of both high quality and highly cited publications in “Andrology” or “Male Infertility” and in “ART-related” research in the world wide literature. Research Fellowship

The Center's Research Fellowship program offer a unique opportunity to researchers/physicians/students interested in gaining real research experience in human fertility and reproductive biology and the opportunity to work with world-renowned scientists and researchers. Our human reproduction and infertility research fellowship is one of the most active programs in the United States. Since 1993, our Center has trained over 1,000 researchers from the United States and more than 50 countries worldwide.

Summer Mentorship Program

The Summer Internship in the American Center for Reproductive Medicine delivers a unique, intensive mentorship experience in scientific writing and hands-on bench research that will provide a lifelong foundation of skills. During the past 10 years, 225 pre-med and medical students as well as recent graduates from 15 countries have done their internship at the American Center for Reproductive Medicine. Not only did the Interns gain the opportunity to work at the Cleveland Clinic and receive mentoring by world-renowned faculty in medicine and health sciences, they also mingled with reputed scientists and physicians and published research articles in prestigious medical journals.

Assisted Reproductive Technology Training Program

We offer a unique opportunity for personalized hands-on training in the latest techniques of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). Our Center has been providing ART training since 2003 and in the last 14 years we have successfully trained over 187 candidates from over 40 countries. This training is given by a team of highly experienced practicing Embryologists and Andrologists at our state-of-the-art training facilities. Candidates can choose from 8 different course modules, including 2 new research-oriented courses (Modules 9 and 10). All these courses are available to physicians, embryologists, researchers and technologists.

Andrology Center and Reproductive Tissue Bank

The Andrology Center and Reproductive Tissue Bank's specialized facility is one of the largest of its kind in this country. It, offers a wide variety of comprehensive tests to evaluate male infertility using the latest technology to meet patient needs. As part of the American Center for Reproductive Medicine, the Andrology Center offers diagnostic tests and fertility preservation services to couples experiencing infertility and to men diagnosed with cancer.
