Dawn Caraballo, B.S.N.

Family Coordinator

Mrs. Caraballo received her bachelor’s degree of science in Nutrition / Dietetics from the Ohio State University (OSU), with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences. She is currently working in Medical Genetics as a Family Coordinator for the National Institute of Cancer Collaborative Family Registry, an international study to gather information from a large numbers of families in order to study the genetic and lifestyle causes of colorectal cancer. Mrs. Caraballo has been with the registry for the last 7 years. As a high school sophomore, junior and senior, she participated in an honors mathematics and science internship. While a student at OSU she worked during her summer and holiday breaks. In August 2004, she brought her vast knowledge and experience working with patients and their families, as well as data collection, and research to the registry team as a Family Coordinator.
