Personalized Healthcare: Research & Discoveries

You are invited to submit an abstract describing an established best practice, developing program, research project or discovery in the field of personalized healthcare. This would include, but is not limited to the following topics:

Family health history
Pharmacogenetics/pharmacogenomics
Genetics/genomics
Biomarkers
Personal health/wellness

Deadline

Abstract submission will be open on Monday October 1, 2012 must be received no later than Friday, March 1, 2013. You will be notified of acceptance by April 1, 2012 via e-mail. Abstracts must be submitted by email to [email protected].

Submission Instructions

Please provide 1-page summary of original research (no more than 500 words, typed).

Posters previously presented at other conferences are acceptable.

Themes of research should focus on personalized healthcare topics and can include, but are not limited to: family health history, pharmacogenetics, nutrigenomics, direct-to-consumer genomic testing, environmental genomics, molecular test development, biomarkers.

Please send abstracts and contact information of corresponding author (name, email address, phone number) to [email protected] no later than March 1, 2013 (11:59pm EST). Authors will be notified via email by April 1, 2013.

If accepted, you must register for the 2013 Cleveland Clinic Personalized Healthcare Summit if you have not already done so. Display boards will be provided. Posters should be no larger than 4 ' x 6'. Posters should be submitted to the registration desk upon arrival to the conference, no later than 8:00am EST on May 6, 2013. A corresponding author must be present at the poster during the designated poster session time as stated in the summit agenda.



Poster Presentations

If your abstract is accepted, please note the following:

Posters will be displayed at the Summit.

Posters will be mounted on a 6' x 4' board. Poster can be 6' by 4' or less in size

No tables will be available for tabletop poster displays.

A panel of physicians, researchers, and administrators will blindly review submissions.

May be posted on the Cleveland Clinic Center for Personalized Healthcare website.

The primary author will receive a $75.00 discount for the full Conference registration. Student / resident / fellow authors will receive a $25 discount for the full Conference registration.
