diabetes mellitus and a wide range of other acute and chronic
disorders of the endocrine system.
Pediatric conditions that are treated include those
with thyroid and growth disorders; delayed or early puberty problems;
Turner's syndrome; sexual differentiation problems in infants;
and hirsutism, severe acne, and menstrual disorders in girls.

Physicians from pediatric nephrology and endocrinology provide
continuing care for diabetic children and adolescents, with the
goal of minimizing hospitalization and preventing diabetic complications.
