About the Departments and Sections at The Children's Hospital at The Cleveland Clinic

Pulmonology

Physicians in the Section of Pediatric Pulmonology offer an interdisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of chronic and acute lung diseases in children and adolescents. The team of pediatric pulmonary physicians, nurses and respiratory therapists provides complete diagnosis and management for patients with the full spectrum of lung diseases, including asthma, pneumonia, persistent cough, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, stridor, aspiration and obstructive sleep apnea.

A dedicated pediatric pulmonary function lab is available for specialized evaluation of lung disease in pediatric patients. Pediatric pulmonary specialists also have expertise in performing flexible bronchoscopy on children for further evaluation of lung and airway disease.
