Hamid Tabatabaie Hamid is a 28-year health information technology veteran and has served as the Chief Executive Officer or a Senior Executive at 4 successful HIT startups. For over fifteen years of his career, Hamid has been at the forefront of innovation in medical imaging informatics. Prior to lifeIMAGE, he was the Chief Executive Officer of AMICAS, a pioneer in use of the Web to automate the processes and the business of diagnostic imaging. Following a personal experience as a caregiver frustrated with the inability to share and exchange medical records across various healthcare settings, he co-founded lifeIMAGE to develop a better way for physicians to share patients’ records. With over one million records exchanged, lifeIMAGE is recognized as the leader in image sharing and its services have been adopted by some of the most renowned hospitals and academic medical centers in the United States. Hamid and his family live in the Boston area.
