Matt Kalaycio, MD
Dr. Matt Kalaycio trained in hematology and medical oncology at Cleveland Clinic, joining the staff in 1994 as the Director of the Leukemia Program. Over the ensuing years his research has concentrated in the clinical aspects of the hematologic malignancies and hematopoietic stem cell transplant. He is the editor of two books and has authored many book chapters in addition to contributing his work to journals such as Bone Marrow Transplantation, Leukemia, Cancer, Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation, and Journal of Clinical Oncology. He is Co-Chairman of the Chronic Leukemia Working Committee of the Center for International Bone Marrow Transplant Research. Currently, he is a professor in the Department of Medicine, Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and serves as the Chairman of the Department of Hematologic Oncology and Blood Disorders in the Taussig Cancer Institute.
