Greg Hubbell is an experienced healthcare executive responsible for the Aon Health and Benefits (H&B) practice in Northeast Ohio. He has over 29 years of insurance industry experience. Greg leads the H&B team in the area of strategic planning, consulting and broker services for existing clients and is responsible for client growth through new business initiatives.
As the Practice Leader, Greg’s focus will be assisting employers wanting to develop, implement, and benefit from a business strategy that focuses on the relationship between improved employee health and productivity and improved business results. Greg has helped employers with innovative solutions to improve health care outcomes, including implementation of on-site health clinics. Of late, he is actively involved with helping employers consider alternate marketplace solutions for active and retired employees in both the public and private exchange environment.
His background is very extensive in the area of group health and employee benefits; specifically how benefits are positioned, communicated and financed. Greg has worked for such major insurance carriers as Provident Life and Accident, Cigna and Kaiser Permanente. In addition, he spent a number of years working as a benefit consultant for Buck Consultants in Cleveland, Ohio. Greg has in-depth experience helping employers navigate the complex world of employee benefits with an eye toward mitigating benefit costs while improving the health of employees and their user-experience. Greg received his BA in marketing from Kent State University.
