The mission of the Kaufman Center is to bring together a team of experts from medicine, surgery, and basic science research to focus their attention on the devastating pandemic of heart failure.

We recognize that heart failure continues as an enormous and growing health problem in the United States and the world.

We must continue to focus our clinical and basic research efforts on gaining greater insight into the cause of heart failure, while exploring methods of preventing this problem and developing new treatment options.
