What is a podcasting?
Podcasting is the distribution of audio files found on the Internet, such as lectures or radio programs. You can download the files to your computer and transfer to a portable audio player to listen to anywhere, at any time.

Do I need an iPod to listen to podcasts?
No. Although an iPod is one portable media device you can use, any other MP3 media player will allow you to save and listen to podcasts. If you donít want to use a portable device, you can also listen to a podcast through your computer or burn it onto an audio CD.

How do I subscribe to a podcast?
You need a podcasting aggregator, which is a type of free software. Aggregators are also referred to as "podcatchers." To subscribe to a podcast, you supply the podcatcher with the podcasts URL, or web address. The content is then automatically downloaded, allowing you to either listen to it on your computer or to or save to your audio player.
