Take the “Smoke-Free Home Pledge”! Every day, 12 million children are exposed to secondhand smoke in their homes. Unfortunately, breathing secondhand smoke can be very harmful to your children's health. Even if you are a smoker, you can protect your children by making your home and car smoke-free. When you take the Smoke-Free Home Pledge, you make the choice not to smoke in your home or car, and you do not to permit others to smoke in your house or car. Or, you can visit the EPA’s web site at www.epa.gov/smokefree. Click on “Take the Smoke-Free Home Pledge Today”. All you have to do is enter your zip code.
