Michael Lincoff, M.D., Vice Chairman for Research and an interventional cardiologist in Cleveland Clinic’s Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, is being honored as the recipient of the Charles and Charlotte Fowler Endowed Chair in Cardiovascular Research.
Dr. Lincoff is the first physician to hold this newly established Chair, which is being supported by a $1.5 million gift from Charles and Charlotte Fowler of Lyndhurst.

Honoring Research Goals
Continuously impressed with Cleveland Clinic’s standard of care and professionalism, the Fowler’s gift recognizes their respect for Dr. Lincoff’s research priorities as well as Cleveland Clinic’s management of patient relationships experienced directly through treatment of Mr. Fowler.
“We are grateful for the generosity of the Fowler family,” Dr. Lincoff said. “We plan to use the annual funding for this chair for preliminary research studies that may provide a basis for larger-scale studies and advances.”
