Neil
Mehta is an internist with joint appointments in CMERAD and
Information Technology Division. His interests include
teaching evidence based medicine, use of computers and the
Internet in the education of patients, medical students, house
staff and the continuing education of physicians, use of web-based
survey tools for automation and streamlining of data collection
for research projects, and studying the role of computers
and the Internet in healthcare and educating patients and
physicians about it. He has been a Clinical Associate
Professor of Medicine at the College of Medicine of the Penn
State University since 1995 and an Associate Professor of
Ohio State University School of Medicine since 1999.
He is an Associate Editor and reviewer, Cleveland Clinic Journal
of Medicine, Reviewer for the Annals of Internal Medicine,
Editorial Board Member of Medical Matrix.
