Anil Jain, M.D.                

Anil Jain is an Internist with joint appointments  in  the  Division  of Medicine and 

Division of Education, Center for Online Medical Education and Training. His  primary 

 interest  is  in  all  stages  of  the  development  and  implementation  of desktop /

handheld  applications  as  well  as  intra/internet-based  tools  to  promote  the

continuing education and training of students, residents and staff physicians.  Prior to

his medical degree at Northwestern University, he obtained a Biomedical Engineering

degree  from  Northwestern  University  specializing  in  Computer  Applications  and

Electronic  Instrumentation.    In  addition,  he  served  as  a  free-lance  consultant  and

programmer to an education software company prior to his current career.  He is also

currently Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at  the  College  of  Medicine  of  the

Penn  State  University  and  Clinical  Instructor  at  Ohio  State  University  School  of
Medicine
