GCIC Incubator
In support of its mission to be an international leader in developing, incubating and commercializing cardiovascular technology,
GCIC is building a new incubator facility to house start-up companies developing innovative solutions for the diagnosis and treatment
of cardiovascular disease and contributing to Ohio's economic development.
Strategically
located near the main campuses of Cleveland Clinic, Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals, the incubator offers 50,000
sq ft of prime, state-of-the-art space. Clients will enjoy customizable laboratory facilities for new product research and development
activities, flexible office space and conference rooms with convenient access to world-leading clinicians and investigators along with all
of GCIC's business support services.
Founded in December 2007, the Global Cardiovascular Innovation Center was established by a State of Ohio Third Frontier Grant and is
building the incubator facility in partnership with the Cleveland Clinic and Fairfax Renaissance Development Corporation. The project has
been designed, built and equipped, and will open in May 2010 as one of the first cardiovascular healthcare focused incubators in the United
States.
