How do I set up a PIN for my library account?

To create a PIN for your library account, go to the "View your Library Account" page and follow these steps:

Enter your name, your employee number (no "U") and whatever you have chosen to use as your PIN.
You will be taken to a page where you are requested to enter a new PIN.
Re-enter the PIN you want to use and repeat it as a confirmation.

What if I forget my password or PIN for one of my personal accounts?

Library account:

If you have forgotten your PIN (Personal Identification Number), please call the library at (216) 444-5697. We are unable to tell you what your PIN is, as it is encrypted, but we can delete the one you currently have so you can create a new one. There may be a delay before this can be done, especially evenings or weekends due to library staffing.

ILLiad account:

If you have forgotten your ILLiad user name, please call the library at (216) 444-5697. We can tell you what you had selected as your user name. If you have forgotten your ILLiad password, it can be reset to a new one for you. Once this has been done, please change your password to one you choose yourself.

RefWorks:

If you have forgotten your RefWorks login information, go to the RefWorks forgotten login page, follow the directions and they will send you your login information.
The library does not have a record of your RefWorks login information.
