Mission Statement
  The House Staff Association is an Association of Residents, and Clinical and Research Fellows at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
The purpose of the Association shall include the following:
to promote the well-being and interests of the residents, clinical and research fellows, whether they be educational, financial, social, or other; to address specific concerns that shall be presented by each interdivisional member representative; to organize and advocate to improve the quality of patient care; to support continued education for residents and fellows; to advance the science of medicine via research and education; and to establish and maintain high medical and ethical standards in the practice of medicine, allied professional fields, and scientific research. The President and the Executive Board of the House Staff Committee shall report to the Graduate Medical Education Council (GMEC), which is designed to monitor, evaluate and implement the programs of the professional trainees within the institution.
