General Information

About the Summit

The Patient Experience: Empathy + Innovation Summit brings together patient experience leaders, healthcare CEOs, nursing leaders, policy makers and major stakeholders for presentations, debate and candid discussion of key issues that drive patient experience. Attendees will hear how they strive to deliver the best clinical, physical and emotional experience to patients and families.

This year, we are excited to partner with American Hospital Association, American Medical Group Association, Association of Academic Health Centers, Society of Hospital Medicine, University HealthSystem Consortium and Association for Patient Experience. Together, we will bring our collective expertise to make these discussions more robust and ensure that Summit attendees have the opportunity for exposure to the latest ideas, trends and topics, all delivered by industry experts and leaders of the global patient experience movement.

As the world’s largest independent summit exclusively focused on improving the patient experience, the 2013 Patient Experience: Empathy + Innovation Summit attracted more than 850 attendees from 34 states and 30 countries.

Since the first Patient Experience: Empathy + Innovation Summit in 2010, more than 2,400 healthcare leaders from 45 states, 37 countries and 730 healthcare organizations have attended.

For the first time, nursing CNEs will be offered for the majority of the conference. Details will follow once the agenda has been confirmed.
