Joseph A. Bauer, Ph.D.
Research Scientist,
Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center

Dr. Bauer is responsible for drug design and development of novel drugs with an emphasis on targeted drug-delivery. His fields of specialization include signal transduction pathways/apoptosis, cobalamin chemistry, molecular biology, oncology research, and the biochemistry of nitric oxide.

Dr. Bauer has published articles in multiple peer review journals and currently holds two patents.

In 2004 Dr. Bauer was the recipient of a Cleveland Clinic Foundation Innovator Award.
