As an educational community resource, the Online X-Ray LibraryT provides students of all ages with access to authentic medical imaging from the Cleveland Clinic Division of Radiology. All Library images are offered in both high- and low-resolution formats to facilitate their use in a variety of ways, including student research papers, PowerPoint presentations, science fair projects, education web sites, and other classroom activities.

The Library was designed by students from Michael Caldwell's Interactive Media program at Mayfield Excel TECC (Technical Education Career Consortium). Under the mentorship of Cleveland Clinic professionals, project manager Dar'ya Taraban and fellow classmates Tony Pohlman and David Rancourt transformed the concept of an x-ray library into reality, gaining real-world work experience in the process.
