Science Internship Program for Nursing

In collaboration with the Nursing Institute, the Science Internship Program for Nursing was designed to expand high school student's knowledge of science and medicine while exposing them to the wide range of career paths the nursing profession has to offer at Cleveland Clinic, its community hospitals and family health centers. This nine-week, paid internship provides top students throughout Northeast Ohio with the opportunity to work and learn alongside nurses who have earned Magnet status: the highest national ranking for nursing excellence. Through hands-on learning and individualized mentoring, the program supports academic achievement as well as life-long success. Interns have garnered and accepted considerable scholarship awards at top universities and institutions such as Boston, Princeton, Case Western Reserve University and Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED).
