The Northeast Ohio Research Education Medicine Alliance (NEOREMA) is an innovative collaboration between Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland State University, Cuyahoga Community College, Kent State University, and Oberlin College. Launched to increase the participation of under-represented groups within the biomedical sciences, NEOREMA provides year-round educational programming for American Indian or Alaskan Native, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, underprivileged, or first generation college students.
As regional leaders in research, education, and medicine, our alliance institutions recognize the importance of developing and training Northeast Ohio's next generation of biomedical leaders. We're committed to providing the education, support, and access necessary to ensure program participants can achieve their dreams of becoming physicians, researchers, and allied health professionals without leaving home.
