Writer's Statement

This piece is a somewhat satirical short story told from the perspective of a breast cancer cell. Latent with the tumor's lamentations of a life questionably unfulfilled and ponderous thoughts regarding its own role in the inexplicable chain of life, this story provides comic relief to a debilitating affliction.
