GenrePoem
The idea for this poem came to me while I was working with patients in Marymount Hospital’s Anticoagulation Clinic. Patients could not believe that it would be detrimental to their health to eat too many vegetables. My poem, working in tandem with my project, alerts patients to the danger of doing anything in excess. Eating a balanced diet is important, and managing a patient’s anticoagulation therapy is a full-time job.
