Writer's Statement

For Marissa Rose's research project, I couldn't think of a better interpretation than to write an autobiographical essay about my personal experience with a father's choice. Nourishment is more than food and it is more than the decisions made while your child is an infant that influence their wellbeing. I think that once you are a parent, you are a parent for life, and it is important to take advantage of teaching and nourishing your child every opportunity you get.
