Artist's Statement

Kenny Bazydlo's research on Deep Vein Thrombosis focuses on the importance of informing staff and patients about the dangers of blood clots. This problem is as common as wearing blue jeans. My stitchery represents the placement of the leg, veins, arteries, and the typical areas where blood clots develop. The beads represent the flow and development of the blood clot.
