Artist's Statement

This work represents the bad effects of the father's lack of input on his infant's feeding. In order to show the separation that grows between the father and the infant, I used thick, dense lines in order to create almost two separate images, one being the father's face, and the other being the infant and the bottle. I also used a large amount of lines in order to create a less noticeable scene in order to illustrate the fact that this problem is a subtle separation.
