Reviving Lives was inspired by the research done by Science Intern Charlie Hayes. I expressed the emotion of a patient going through a blood transfusion in the form of ceramics. The gray body-like structure represents an anemic person, full of cracks to show the weakness of the patient. The red paint on the inside of the torso and the wire wrapped around it symbolize the iron-rich blood that is making its way through the body.
