Artist's Statement

A stroke can greatly change a person's life. They can lose their ability to walk, speak, or even use one side of their brain. The use of FIM scoring to help patients regain some of these abilities is very helpful to stroke patients. My intern's research showed that a patient going to physical therapy more times during the week would have better results with their FIM score. My animation shows a man driving and he crashes his car and has a stroke. He has to regain his ability to walk through physical therapy. I used Flash to animate my work.
