Artist's Statement

The intention of my work was to use different medias to portray a healthy brain compared to an AICD brain in an interesting way. I got my inspiration from my love of ceramics and just went from there. I wanted to make something that popped out at the viewer and got their attention. To make my finished work more successful, I would take pictures with a polaroid camera to illustrate life's memories and entwine them with the film on my background.
