Writer's Statement

After hearing the presentation about chronic pain, many of my peers were lost at what to write about. Only being 15 years old, most teens have never experienced chronic pain and don't quite understand the extent of it. However, chronic pain has crept into my life and I wanted to write a short story expressing to others how I have fought through the unbreakable wall that it provides. My story illustrates the reality of chronic pain and the hope that you need to have to fight through it.
