Artist's Statement

There is a lot of stress in the world. Stress is caused by bills, kids, school, relationships, friends, family, peer pressure, work, problems, and many other things. Stress brings along health conditions such as hair-loss, anxiety, loss of appetite, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, obesity, cardiovascular problems, and other diseases that can cause death. With our model of a human head, we’re trying to represent some of the main things that stress people that cause stress and the effects that this can cause on your face. Lack of sleep, wrinkles, and skin blemishes are signs that you might be stressed out.
