Artist's Statement

This project is to draw attention to the advancement of medical technology in the many uses of ultrasound. This is an informative Flash animation about high resolution ultrasound that I have called HRU. To create this project, I used Adobe Creative Suite, more specifically, Adobe Flash CS3 and Adobe Photoshop CS3, along with Apple's Garageband to create the audio in the animation. I created the layouts in Photoshop and made a storyboard depicting the slides and transitions. The final output was published using Adobe Flash. This project was made possible by studying the information given by Brendan Mulcahy of St. Ignatius High School in the video he made over the summer.
