Artist's Statement

My painting has a milking wax lake with caution and detour signs saying to stay away from sugar. Also, it has some products that diabetics should stay away from. I used puff paint to give a three-dimensional look on the orange caution cones. Then for fish, I used sequins to give texture and sparkle. There are many other techniques with my project to go along with the theme. This is my first year doing eXpressions, and it was really fun putting science into art.6
