Artist's Statement

This peice is a life saver. On the life saver are blood sugar testing strips, and in the middle, the water turns into blood with sugar swriled into it. The water represents how hard it can sometimes be living with diabetes. In the water are the lyrics to a song called "A Little Bit Longer" written by Nick Jonas. It's about how if you just wait a little bit longer, you'll be fine and make it through.
