Artist's Statement

In my artwork, I wanted to incorporate all of the cities and countries that are establishing a Cleveland Clinic location, or that have already been introduced to Cleveland Clinic. My project shows how technology is the center of all communication, and how Connie's research shows how we can easily log on to a website and be connected all over the world. My main focal point is the computer motherboard. Surrounding the center of technology, the cities and countries are represented by pieces of cut out maps. In detail, I also included pills to show the pharmaceutical side of this project as well.
