My painting is based on the research of Mo Ridha and his study of injuries and improper throwing biomechanics in baseball pitchers. I mirrored the graffiti style of Keith Haring as I illustrated human movements with my original ideas. I used acrylic paint. Using the bright primary colors helped represent sickness, health, and pain. I used white, semi-sphere wood pieces to show the techniques used to get a breakdown of the biomechanics of a pitch. One of the conclusions he came to was that the injured arm could rotate further than the healthy arm which is not normal.
