Artist's Statement

My artwork shows the dangers of not following proper surgical procedures given to you by your surgeon. Most of the time when you are going in for surgery, your surgeon tells you to use a special soap and many people don’t follow these directions. This often causes skin bacterial diseases. In my artwork, you notice there is a bar of bloody soap and a scalpel on a surgical tray. This represents the dangers, and I hope it makes people realize that they should always follow proper surgical procedures.
