Artist's Statement

My inspiration for this artwork was from the study on high resolution ultrasound. The yellow lines represent sound waves from the ultrasound. I used Pointillism to show dimensions and texture. The heart is red because the heart is the main object, and red is an attention grabber. Then the background is blue because red balances with it, and they contrast together.
