Artist's Statement

By using Photoshop to edit and distort images, I have turned the medical symptoms of diplopia into a visual piece of art. To explain that diplopia means double vision, I have used an image of the Twin Towers, making it only clear through the glasses. By blurring the background and doubling the image, diplopia can be easily understood by viewers.
