Our bodies are very unpredictable things, and as technology advances, so does the process by which we try to predict the unpredictable. Following Nikki Meyyazhagan’s research on capsule endoscopy, I interpreted this new research, turning our organic internal structure into a more mechanical system. I represented the rigid structure of the camera with wire and mirror shards, and juxtaposed them against a smooth exterior. The tiny camera goes through the digestive system to document every fluctuation. I represented this observation through various mechanical components and open cavities on the torso. Observation is the key to understanding and growth.
